The Vietnamese Embassy in Mexico on September 13th granted visa exemption certificates to a number of overseas Vietnamese and their family members.
The recipients expressed their gratitude to the Vietnamese Government for the policy which they said created favourable conditions for them to keep close ties to the fatherland.
Levy Sylviana Francoise, holding French nationality, the wife of Nguyen Huu Dong, an overseas Vietnamese who had made great contributions to Viet Nam’s US resistance war, said Viet Nam was her second motherland.
